Real Time Operating Centers (RTOCs) vary from very small to very large. Scalability is critical.

If the job is to monitor one or two rigs, then "keeping it simple" can be the most cost effective and reliable approach. This sometimes - but not always - translates into:

• no extra equipment at the rig
• point to point connectivity on the corporate intranet
• a single computer within an asset team or drilling department with multiple displays.

At the other extreme, sometimes RTOCs monitor large numbers of rigs and involve large number of professionals. RigComms provides full scale up to handle this situation too.
